Since joining Urban Upbound in 2024, Ms. Carrie Andino has become a valued and uplifting presence within our community. Known for her warm smile and positive energy, Ms. Andino consistently brings joy to every event she attends, helping to create a welcoming and encouraging environment for both staff and fellow members.

As a mature member navigating the challenges of maintaining supplemental income while exploring employment opportunities, Ms. Andino has found a supportive space at Urban Upbound where she feels understood and empowered. Through our programs, she has been able to access critical resources and personalized guidance that support her day-to-day stability and long-term goals.

“Urban Upbound helped me in a lot of different ways — they helped me with my lease, recertification… I love all the services they provide.”

Ms. Andino’s experience has been so meaningful that she has become a strong advocate for our work, referring others to join and benefit from the same supportive environment she values. Her continued participation and enthusiasm reflect the importance of creating spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and connected.

Urban Upbound is proud to have members like Ms. Andino, whose positivity and commitment to community embody the spirit of our mission.
